- Explain the evaluation of microprocessor in brief.
- Draw the functional block diagram of Intel-8085.
- State the function of temporary register of the 8085 microprocessor.
- State the features of 8086. Also explain the difference between 8086 and 8085.
- Define the term interrupt, exception, fault, and trap.
- List the four major processing units in an 80826 microprocessor and describe the function of each.

- Draw typical 8086 minimum mode configuration and explain functional of two signals used of two signals used in minimum mode.
- Describe memory mapped 1/0 with suitable example. State its advantage over 1/0 mapped 1/0.
- Draw internal architecture of 8086 microprocessor. Also explain the function EU.

- State any four addressing modes used in 8086 microprocessor. Identify Addressing modes used in each of the following 8086 instructions.

(b) ADD AL,[BX+04J

(d) MOV AX,[BX+SI+04] - Write an algorithm and an 8086 assembly language program to arrange numbers in ascending order.
- What is memory segmentation? How memory segmentation is achieved in the 8086 microprocessor? State advantage of memory segmentation.

- Explain the different mode of operation of 8255. Describe the control word format of 8255 in 1/0 and 85R mode.
- Explain the various functional block diagrams ot'8251.
